Registrations
Registration in educational institutions refers to the process by which students officially enroll in courses or programs. This process typically involves selecting courses, paying fees, and fulfilling prerequisites or requirements set by the institution. Registration ensures that students are recognized as participants in their chosen courses or programs and creates a formal record of their enrollment.
The Registrations part of this Module is designed to streamline the administration and management of registrations, making the process efficient and transparent.
Here, in this section, users can search for registered students by roll number or name and filter by registration status.

Choose Exam Type, whether Regular or Supplementary.
Export
There is option to Export
data into several formats, each serving specific purpose:

Export as PDF
- Description: Saves data as a PDF file.
- Purpose: Useful for creating formal and easily shareable documents.
- Benefits: PDF files maintain their formatting across different devices and platforms, making them ideal for official records, reports, and printing purposes.

Export as XLS (Excel)
- Description: Converts data into an Excel spreadsheet (.xlsx) file.
- Purpose: Excel files are perfect for detailed data analysis and manipulation.
- Benefits: With Excel, you can sort, filter, and perform calculations on the data. It's highly useful for administrative tasks, statistical analysis, and creating comprehensive reports.

Time Table-wise Registrations
- Description: This feature organizes registration data based on the timetable of courses or exams.
- Purpose: Provides a clear view of registrations aligned with the course/exam schedule.
- Benefits: Helps in planning and managing resources, such as allocating exam halls, invigilators, and materials according to the schedule. Ensures that no overlapping occurs and that every registered student has a slot.

Course Versus Exam Registration Report
- Description: This feature compares the number of students registered for each course against the number of students registered for the corresponding exams.
- Purpose: Identifies discrepancies between course enrollments and exam registrations.
- Benefits: Ensures that all students taking a course are properly registered for the exams. It helps in spotting issues like students missing exam registrations, which can then be addressed promptly.
Exam Registration
Exam registration is the process through which students enroll for their upcoming examinations. This includes selecting the specific courses they will be taking exams for, confirming their eligibility, and ensuring they meet any prerequisites set by the university.
The different aspects of student registration is given in different tabs.
Registered Students
The students who have registered for the examination is listed here. The list has columns for Roll No., Name, Batch, Registration Status, Registered Courses, and Actions.
To register a student for the course, click on the kebab (3 dots)
icon under Actions and Confirm Registration.
Detained Students
This discloses students who have been detained due to various reasons.
Courses
You can view and manage the list of registered courses for the selected program and exam type here. To register students, click on 'Register Students' and select students; once done, click on 'Update Registrations.' You may 'Export' the data of only registered students or all students.
Invalid Registrations
This displays the list of students whose registration has been declared invalid. To remove a student from invalid list, choose and delete it.
Revaluation
Revaluation allows students to request a re-evaluation of their exam papers. This usually means rechecking the answers to ensure they have been correctly marked, viewing the scanned copy of the answer script to see how it was marked, and then requesting a recount of the marks to ensure the total marks have been accurately calculated.
Registered Students
Clicking the View icon will likely display more detailed information about the registered student or course.
To register new students requesting revaluation, click on 'Add Registrations' and register by way of Hall Ticket No.
Courses
All the courses available for revaluation are listed here, to pick up from.
- Click on 'Register Students' for the course that the student has picked up, for revaluation.
- Select student(s) and click on 'Update Registrations.'
Script View
Script View gives students to opportunity to review their answers. It helps students understand how their answers were marked and identify any errors or areas of improvement. However, it should be noted that this feature would become available only after examination results are published.
Recounting
Recounting in this context refers to the process where students can request a re-check of their exam marks to ensure that the total marks have been calculated accurately, if they believe there may have been a mistake in the calculation. It is to be noted that until results are announced, students cannot utilize this benefit.
