Club Management
ℹ️ Clubs are student-led groups for specific interests including sports, arts, technical, community service, and professional activities. Each club has admins and followers to facilitate member engagement.
Creating a New Club
- Go to UMS >> Activities >> Clubs
- Click on New Club button
- Enter club name and compelling description
- Add relevant tags for categorization (optional)
- Select club type: sports, arts, technical, community service, or professional services
- Choose club admin(s) from the available list
- Upload suitable background image for the club
- Click Add Club button to create
Managing Club Details
- Click View Details on any club card
- Review join requests from students and faculty members
- Click Accept or Reject for membership requests
- View club members list at the bottom of the page
- Delete members if needed using the delete option
- Click Edit button to modify club information
💡 The number of members and followers are displayed below the club description for quick reference.
Mobile App Access
The Clubs feature is available in both Student and Faculty mobile apps. Users can explore clubs by categories, view their memberships, and manage admin roles.
Students and faculty can express interest in joining clubs through the mobile apps. Club admins can evaluate requests and approve members, ensuring clubs maintain their standards and community engagement.
Event Management
ℹ️ Events range from academic conferences to skill development sessions. Each event includes date, time, location, organizer details, and participant capacity management.
Creating a New Event
- Go to UMS >> Activities >> Events
- Click on Create New Event button
- Enter event name and select event type: academic, co-curricular, or extra-curricular
- Choose parent event if institution-specific
- Set event date, time, and location details
- Select organizer and event admin from the list
- Write event description and add relevant tags
- Choose display preference: App, Website, or Both
- Upload event report and cover image
- Set participant capacity and entry fee options
- Check Restricted Institution if needed
- Click Add Event button to publish
Managing Event Details
- Click View Details on any event card
- Review interested participants with their details (name, email, batch, program, ID, user type)
- Mark attendance as present or absent
- Monitor check-in and check-out times using QR code system
- Delete participant details if needed
- Click Export button to download participant data
Event Operations
- Click Edit Event button to modify event information
- Use Event Gallery to view or upload event photos
- Click kebab menu (3 dots) to download event report
- Monitor event status: "Yet to be Held" or "Finished" alerts
💡 Events automatically appear in the institution's Digital Notice Board based on "Show Event In" preferences.
Mobile App Access
The Events card in mobile apps provides comprehensive event information including dates, times, locations, and descriptions. Users can access event details and participate through the mobile interface.
Reports Management
ℹ️ Generate detailed reports for various events and activities to analyze participation, outcomes, and institutional engagement metrics.
Accessing Reports
- Go to UMS >> Activities >> Reports
- Select desired report type from available options
- Enter required parameters for the report
- Click Get Report button to generate

- Filter reports by date ranges
- Export data for external analysis
- Review event participation statistics
