Settlements
Overview
Settlements in the Payments module provides a comprehensive reconciliation system for matching and verifying transactions recorded by the merchant with those recorded by the institution. This feature enables accurate financial accounting by allowing administrators to review settlement data date-wise, examine detailed transaction records, and export information for further analysis and record-keeping purposes.

Navigation Steps
Accessing Settlements
- On the left side of the main menu, go to Payments >> Settlements.
- The Settlements interface will display with filtering options and settlement data.
Using Settlements
Step 1: Filter Settlement Data
Merchant ID selection is mandatory for retrieving settlement data. Date filters help narrow down the results to specific time periods.
Steps to filter settlements:
- Select the Merchant ID from the dropdown (mandatory field)
- Apply Date filters to retrieve settlements done between the selected dates
- Click Apply or Search to load the filtered data
Step 2: Review Settlement Data
Settlement data is displayed date-wise with the following information:
- Settlement dates and amounts
- Transaction counts and totals
- Merchant-specific settlement details
- Processing status and completion information
Step 3: View Detailed Settlement Information
To access detailed settlement information:
- Locate the specific date or settlement entry you want to review
- Click on the 'View' (eye) icon next to the settlement entry
- Review the detailed breakdown of transactions for that particular day
- Examine individual transaction records, amounts, and processing details
Step 4: Export Settlement Data
To save settlement data to MS Excel:
- After filtering and reviewing the desired settlement data
- Click on the Export button (typically located at the top or bottom of the data table)
- The system will generate and download an Excel file with the settlement information
- Save the file to your desired location for further analysis or record-keeping
