Overview

The Digital Notice Board in Faculty Workspace is a powerful communication tool that enables faculty members to effectively communicate with students through posts, announcements, and polls. This digital platform replaces traditional bulletin boards and provides real-time, interactive communication capabilities for enhanced student engagement and information dissemination.

Faculty can create targeted content for specific audiences, schedule posts, and track engagement across both web and mobile platforms.

Creating Content via Web Platform

New Announcement

Purpose

Create and share important institutional updates, event information, and critical communications with targeted audiences.


Follow the steps below to create a new announcement:

  1. Click the '+' button in the Digital Notice Board interface
  2. Select 'New Announcement' icon from the options
  3. Choose Content Type from the dropdown menu
  4. Enter the announcement text in the Description field
  5. Set the Date & Time for publication
  6. Select Target Audience (Website, Institutions, Batches, Classrooms, etc.)
  7. Fill in the specific details for your selected target audience
  8. Click 'Submit' to publish the announcement

New Post

Purpose

Share detailed content with multimedia elements to engage students with articles, updates, and educational materials.


Follow the steps below to create a new post:

  1. Click the '+' button in the Digital Notice Board interface
  2. Select 'New Post' icon from the options
  3. Choose Content Type from the dropdown menu
  4. Enter a descriptive Title for your post
  5. Add relevant Tags for better searchability
  6. Set the Date & Time for publication
  7. Write your content in the Description field
  8. Upload Media/Doc/URL (optional) to enhance your post
  9. Select Target Audience for content distribution
  10. Click 'Submit' to publish the post

New Poll

Purpose

Gather student opinions, feedback, and votes on specific questions through structured response formats.


Follow the steps below to create a new poll:

  1. Click the '+' button in the Digital Notice Board interface
  2. Select 'New Poll' icon from the options
  3. Choose Content Type from the dropdown menu
  4. Enter your Poll Question clearly
  5. Add relevant Tags for categorization
  6. Specify Option 1 and Option 2 for responses
  7. Add Option 3 if additional choice is needed
  8. Set the Date & Time for poll duration
  9. Select Target Audience for poll participation
  10. Click 'Submit' to create and publish the poll

Mobile App Integration

Creating Posts via Faculty Mobile App

Access Method

Navigate to the Faculty Mobile App and locate the Digital Notice Board icon (second icon at the bottom navigation).


Steps to create a new post:

  1. Open the Faculty Mobile App
  2. Tap on 'Digital Notice Board' (second icon at bottom)
  3. Tap the '+' button
  4. Select 'New Post' option
  5. Fill in Content Type from available options
  6. Enter a compelling Title
  7. Add relevant Tags for discoverability
  8. Set Date & Time for publication
  9. Write detailed Description
  10. Upload Media/Doc/URL if needed
  11. Choose Target Audience
  12. Tap 'Post' to publish

Creating Polls via Faculty Mobile App

Steps to create a new poll:

  1. Open the Faculty Mobile App
  2. Navigate to 'Digital Notice Board'
  3. Tap the '+' button
  4. Select 'New Poll' option
  5. Choose Content Type
  6. Enter your Poll Question
  7. Add descriptive Tags
  8. Set Option 1, Option 2, and Option 3 (if needed)
  9. Configure Date & Time for poll duration
  10. Select Target Audience
  11. Tap 'Create Poll' to launch

After successfully creating content through the Digital Notice Board:

  • Announcements will be visible to selected target audiences immediately
  • Posts will appear in the content feed with multimedia elements displayed properly
  • Polls will be available for voting by the specified audience with real-time result tracking
