This module serves as the primary interface where employees can access, view, and manage various aspects of their employment records without requiring direct intervention from administrative personnel.

Components

The Self-Service menu contains four primary sub-modules, each designed to address specific employee needs:

Leaves

  • Purpose: Central hub for comprehensive leave management with real-time balance tracking.
  • Function: Displays leave balances through visual cards (Total, Casual, Sick), enables leave request submission, and provides integrated holiday calendar for strategic planning.
  • Key Features: Color-coded leave balances, dual-tab request tracking (My Request/Team Request), and status indicators (Approved, Rejected, Cancelled).
  • Why it matters: Eliminates manual leave tracking and provides complete transparency in leave entitlements and usage patterns.

Attendance

  • Purpose: Interactive attendance monitoring with calendar visualization and flexible work arrangement support.
  • Function: Provides daily attendance logs, monthly calendar view with color-coded status, and handles Work From Home/On Duty requests.
  • Key Features: Real-time attendance tracking, visual calendar interface, and integrated leave-attendance synchronization.
  • Why it matters: Accommodates modern flexible work arrangements while maintaining accurate attendance accountability.

Salary

  • Purpose: Complete payroll transparency with downloadable salary documentation.
  • Function: Displays detailed salary slips with systematic breakdown of gross pay, deductions, and net pay across multiple months.
  • Key Features: Unique slip ID tracking, comprehensive salary history, and downloadable PDF documentation for official use.
  • Why it matters: Provides immediate access to salary information for financial planning, loan applications, and personal record-keeping.

Expenses

  • Purpose: Business expense management and reimbursement workflow.
  • Function: Enables expense claim submission, receipt upload, approval tracking, and reimbursement monitoring.
  • Key Features: Digital receipt management, automated approval workflows, and integrated reimbursement processing.
  • Why it matters: Completes the self-service ecosystem by digitizing expense reporting and eliminating paper-based processes.

PROFILE INFORMATION

  • As a faculty member or employee, it is crucial to keep your personal profile information updated and complete. This ensures smoother administration, accurate payroll processing, efficient leave tracking, and proper management of your department details and designations.

LEAVE PLANNING

  • Apply for leave through proper channels (Faculty Mobile App or Web Application) as it directly impacts payroll processing through automatic ERP integration. Your Reporting Manager will approve requests via the Web Application, and can also apply on your behalf when needed.
  • Plan leave requests well in advance and ensure work is properly delegated to fellow faculty members. Provide complete details including coverage arrangements to avoid workflow disruptions and ensure smooth operations during your absence [Know more].

ATTENDANCE TRACKING

  • The system automatically synchronizes your approved leaves with attendance records, so you do not need to worry about attendance conflicts during your approved leave periods.
  • For Work From Home or special duty requests, submit your attendance request in advance to ensure proper documentation and approval.
